Runes circle is an ancient practice to get to know the runes better, experience them yourself and build a stronger connection with runes
It’s interesting to look back on the rune circle already done. This article started with the thought about Gebo rune and Gebo week and initially I wanted to update it with some afterthoughts. But then I’ve seen the dates on the Dagaz post and understood I probably need to add more, since the changes are beyond expected

Dagaz is the last rune of the Futhark and it finishes my Runes Circle practice. It was arguably the hardest week and Dagaz opened its deeper meaning that is not so light.

Othala is a very important rune to me personally. Once in a really bad and scary situation I was asking runes if we were safe and I got Othala. I felt safe and sure after that, and even when the situation seemed to get worse I believed in Othala power. And against all odds we were fine and safe after all. Since than I feel a deep connection to Othala.

Laguz is a water rune. There’s not many fully elemental runes, but Laguz is one of them. The other Laguz meaning is witchcraft, and my Laguz week was truly magical.

Ewaz is a very magical and powerful rune. For me it’s magic and might, and a quick ride seeing no barriers. Ewaz is often associated with Sleipnir, Odin‘s magical steed with eight legs who can travel between all nine worlds. For Ewaz, as for Sleipnir, there’s no barriers, but the ride won’t be easy.

Berkana week was a direct opposite of the Teiwaz – positive, mild and mostly uneventful. But the events that did occur were good and it was a real relax after the Teiwaz week. I think it shows the connection, or rather opposition of the Teiwaz and Berkana runes that form a balanced system together.

Teiwaz is the first rune of the third and last Att. It is often connected with Tyr and warriors, being a men’s rune and a sacrifice rune at the same time. It’s really a complicated and “hard” rune. And though it might mean justice, just remember that justice in the old times was not always like it is today, in the modern world.

Sowilo is the rune of victory, and it was the best week in the Runes Circle so far. Sowilo week brought great gains and lots of gifts. If you need sun to lighten your life, use Sowilo rune, but don’t forget about its other side…
