Fehu traditional meaning is kettle, and since kettle was a measure of wealth and trade, money in our time.

Fehu is the first rune of the Futhark and it has its meaning. Fehu is the new ideas, the new start. And I’ve felt it on the first day. I’ve got new ideas and suddenly got a solution to a work’s problem I haven’t even thought about, and yeah, it worked. So Fehu can help you to get new ideas, look at the problem from different angle and just get the insight when you are stuck at something. Just write Fehu on a piece of paper and make a break/go to sleep- you would get an idea how to solve it.

Fehu is also great with new beginnings, so plannings is great with Fehu. I’ve planned an upcoming holiday and got great ideas.

The next Fehu meaning is a bit more unexpected but from my personal practice it can help with shopping. Suddenly finding the best option, managing to find and get the dream thing, it’s all Fehu.

But when you start to think that Fehu has only great happy influence you see the other part. Fehu is money gained through the hard work, and I don’t mean physical or badly paid, I mean you have to really work, spend time and efforts to get what you want. I’ve got a lot of tasks on work, I’ll say unexpectedly high workload. The loads of work just pop up and everything’s urgent. I would think twice to use Fehu alone, though to be honest, on those days I thought I never will. So keep this in mind when working with Fehu. Now that I think of it, it seems only logical – the kettle required lots of work to keep it, so having large kettle not only meant wealth, but working to get/preserve it.

The other great idea I had using Fehu was how to preserve money and not use savings, which actually came as a great advice. So listen to the advices carefully, I don’t say you need to follow all, of course not, just don’t miss a great one, with Fehu it would usually be concerning money and spending. By the end of the week I’ve seen much more positive aspects of Fehu again. And Fehu is great for gifts. It helps you to get unexpectedly great buys, get lots of presents and just wonderful shopping. And all of this without overspending, I’ve even got discounts. So if you want to shop for a holiday or just make yourself a holiday, use Fehu, it would help you get gifts haven’t even thought about and the ones you’ve long wanted. Also be careful to listen, you can hear some idea, that would help.

So to summarize, Fehu is hard work but great harvest, results. Theres no harvest where nothing was planted, it’s an ancient law of life.

Fehu gives you great results, often better than you could expect, but you still need to plant before harvest.
